Ring groove rivet machine: an industrial tool for high-strength connection
I. Core definition and working principle
Ring groove rivet machine is a special equipment designed based on the principle of cold riveting, which realizes permanent fastening connection through unidirectional tension. Its core principle is to use Hooke's law:
Riveting process: insert the ring groove rivet into the hole of the connected part, put on the lock ring, and the rivet gun applies unidirectional tension to stretch the bolt rod and push the collar;
Tightening formation: the inner wall of the collar is squeezed to the groove of the screw to form a 100% combination. When the load reaches the predetermined value, the bolt rod breaks at the cross section of the lock ring to complete the fastening.
Advantages: Compared with traditional nuts and bolts, ring groove rivets do not require torsion rotation, have excellent vibration resistance, high connection strength and never loosen.
II. Equipment composition and classification
Core components:
Fuselage: support the overall structure;
Rivet device: adapt to rivets of different specifications;
Pneumatic/hydraulic system: provide tension power;
Control system: adjust tension parameters;
Operating system: human-computer interaction interface.
Equipment classification:
By power source: pneumatic ring groove rivet machine (lightweight and flexible, suitable for mobile operations), hydraulic ring groove rivet machine (high pressure, suitable for high-strength connection);
By degree of automation: manual, semi-automatic, fully automatic (efficiency increases step by step).
Typical models: M16/M20 electric hydraulic rivet gun, PXQ-1000 vibrating screen special rivet machine, etc.
